How Are You Living Your Life?
Hello everyone; I have read a lot of self-help books over the years, and they all have at least one thing in common, and one of the greatest inventors in history said it best.
Albert Einstein said “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” What does this mean to you when you think about what that quote says?
What it means to me is that life is about choices, and we can choose to look at it either way. If you are not living the life that you want to live and not following your passions, and your dreams; then you choose to look at life as though nothing is a miracle.
What Excuses Do You Use?
We are human, and we all make excuses as to why we can't do something.
I have bills to pay.
When I get out of debt.
When the kids get older.
I'm too busy.
I don't have time.
I am sure that you can add to this list and please do I would like to hear your comments.
I'm not telling you that it is easy, but We are only here for an uncertain amount of time before we journey to the next life and then it is too late.
So Stop Making Excuses!
I am positive that you can find a few hours a day to work on following your passions. Maybe watch a little less T.V., Spend a little less time seeing what everyone is up to on Facebook, and take that time to figure out what it is that you want and then take one step at a time and before you know it you will be living your dreams.
Excuses be Gone; is the title of a book by one of my favorite authors who recently passed away. Dr. Wayne W. Dyer. May he rest in peace.
Highly Motivated People
The individuals who are living their dreams and following their passions decide to look at life as though everything is a miracle. They are highly Motivated.
Most all successful people are all readers of books, they are lifetime learners and are always educating themselves. If you see them sitting around, they are usually focusing and trying to figure out a better way to achieve their goals and dreams.
How many times have you heard yourself say something about another person; man he/she is so lucky they have a great job, a beautiful home, nice car, and take great vacations, that I can only dream about?
What if I told you that it‘s not all your fault, that you are not living out your dreams. Let me explain what I mean. When you were a child growing up people, put writings on your walls. (in our heads, or our subconscious minds.) Our parents, teachers, friends, and anyone that we came into contact with; Then you were taught what you could or could not do.
So we all make excuses for why we can’t do something because; you have to consult the writings on your walls to see what you learned as a child. That my friends is what is called a limiting belief; making excuses because of what we were taught as children.
Money doesn't grow on trees.
We can't afford this/that.
Do I look like I'm made of money!
You're not smart enough
You're not good enough
You're not pretty enough
You're too fat
You're too skinny
What are some that you can add to this list?

But here is the part that most of us don’t understand, now that you are an adult; you can change those limiting beliefs or those writings on your walls to whatever makes sense to you. I grew up without a father, and I came from a family without money, but I choose to live my life as though it is a miracle and a blessing. It is all about how you look/think about things.
What Is The Writing On Your Walls?
Some people at work and I were talking about the frost on our car windshields during winter. One person said something about pouring warm water on his windshield to melt the ice. I said you don't want to do that because hot water freezes faster than cold and besides it might crack your windshield.
An older gentleman said hot water doesn't freeze faster than cold. Well, I consulted the writings on my wall, and they stated that it does. Simply because that is what I was taught as a child growing up. Then I thought about it and became unsure because I had never tested that theory personally. It turns out that I was right, but it was a reminder to me to question and find out for myself the truth. Because believe it or not. Not everything that you learn as a child is the truth.
I went to a seminar one time, mostly out of curiosity; but I was talking to this one lady that was in the class and she looked at me and said; you must be rich. I almost laughed in her face, but instead, I said to her that it depends on your definition of being rich.
I told her that if you are talking in monetary terms, then I am probably the brokest person in this class. (considering most of the folks in the class were doctors, chiropractors, and professional people.) But I have some of the best friends, and family in the world, that would do anything for me; and that my health was fantastic, I have a decent job and a great spiritual connection with our Creator. So yes, I am rich!
She looked at me and then she said, I never thought about it that way; you should be teaching this class. (What a beautiful compliment) I was blown away by her remark. Here was a group of people that probably made more money in one year than I make in three or four; but she had never thought about it that way before. Not everybody’s definition of being rich is the same. It is all in how you choose to think and look at life.
Our Creator gave us free will to decide, what we believe or don’t believe; the choice is yours, and only you can change the way you think, and look at things as well as what you believe.
I hope that all of you have enjoyed this topic, and I hope that I made you take a closer look at yourself, and think a little different about what you can do, and how you look at life.
